What gets collected. Standard analytics (pages
visited, approximate location, device type) via privacy-respecting
analytics tools, to understand what readers find useful. If you
subscribe to the newsletter, your email address, stored with the email
service provider and used only to send you the newsletter. If you email
me, whatever you choose to send.

Cookies. The site uses cookies for basic
functionality and analytics. If advertising is ever introduced, ad
partners may use cookies subject to their own policies, and a consent
banner will let you make choices about that.

What never happens. Your personal information is not
sold. Your email address is not shared, rented, or used for anything
except the newsletter you asked for. Every newsletter includes a working
unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing actually unsubscribes you.

Third parties. The site is hosted on managed
infrastructure, uses an email service provider for the newsletter, and
links out to booking and affiliate partners whose sites have their own
privacy policies. Once you leave this site, their rules apply.

Your choices. You can read everything here without
an account, block cookies in your browser, and unsubscribe anytime. To
ask what information exists about you or to have it deleted, use the
contact page and I will handle it personally.
